HAHARAPIN NI SEN. RICHARD GORDON ANG KASONG PLUNDER NA INIHAIN NI TRILLANES !

Senator Richard Gordon on Tuesday said he will face the plunder complaint that would be filed by Senator Antonio Trillanes IV at the Office of the Ombudsman on Wednesday morning.

Trillanes said the plunder complaint inclues alleged anomalies involving Gordon as chairman of the Philippine Red Cross.

"Ginamit niya 'yung (Philippine) Red Cross para sa sariling interest. Bukas, nakalagay 'yung mga attachments, 'yung mga documentary evidence," Trillanes said during Tuesday's Kapihan sa Senado.

Unfazed by the threat, Gordon described Trillanes' accusation as "fake news."

"Here we go again, palagi naman ganyan 'yan eh, di ba? So, ako fake news na naman 'yan, sa akin eh. Ito ang reality, na tumutulong tayo sa mga nahihirapan," Drilon said on the report of GMA News' Jam Sisante aired Tuesday evening on "State of the Nation with Jessica Soho." 

"'Yan ang gusto niya publicity, sensationalism. Eh hindi ko naman ibibigay sa kanya, sasagutin ko 'yung sinasinabi niya. Ipagdadasal ko na lang siya, at hindi niya alam kung ano ang ginagawa niya," he added.

At the Kapihan forum, Trillanes also bared his plan to submit a letter asking the Commission on Audit to investigate the funds of the Philippine Red Cross.

He also plans to write to the International Federation of the Red Cross to request for the conduct of an independent audit of their local counterpart.
