NOYNOY : ALAN PURISIMA RULE THE MAMASAPANO OPERATION 2015 !
Former President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III on Friday said former Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Alan Purisima was a mere "resource person" during the planning of the 2015 Mamasapano operation.
"Ako practical lang. Was he performing the role of the chief of PNP? Did I tell anybody to follow him?" Aquino said of Purisima, whom he consulted about the execution of Oplan Exodus, despite the latter's suspension as PNP chief then.

Oplan Exodus was the operation against Malaysian bomb maker Zulkifli Bin-hir alias Marwan and Filipino bandit leader Basit Usman on January 25, 2015.
Aquino is facing graft and usurpation of official function before the Sandiganbayan for supposedly "willfully" allowing Purisima to play a role in the planning the operation.
The former President has posted a total of P40,000-bail before the Sandiganbayan Third Division to secure his provisional liberty.
Purisima, according to the Ombudsman, gave instructions, received reports and recommendations, and approved the actions of then-Special Action Force (SAF) commander Gutulio Napeñas during the operation.
"Aquino fully knew that Purisima was under preventive suspension from office and that it was Officer-In-Charge PNP chief Leonardo Espina who had the authority to oversee the preparation for and conduct of Oplan Exodus, to the damage of public interest," the charge sheet reads.
